In about 1803, Lewis and Clark with their expedition, the tour of discovery made an encampment near the confluence of the Missouri River and another River they called the "Medicine".

One hundred and eighty seven years later, new discoveries were made on this spot when a songwriter from Great Falls, Montana moved into the "Old River House". There he found the musical inspiration that led to the songs and recordings which have become the foundation for the performance career of a group or musicians known as the Bentwood Rockers. A small recording industry in the state of Montana, anchored to the talents of yet another formidable group of artists known as "The Medicine River All-Stars" was born.

The "Rockers" have since garnered a multi cultural, as well as international membership with appearances on Regional and National television in both the United States and Europe, released two albums with sales in at least 14 countries, completed three European tours and plays a performance regimen that has grown steadily for 15 years.
